Communication During Treatment
All communication with any person outside of the facility will be restricted for a period of one week (7 days) at the beginning of your stay, and you will not have access to your cell phone during this blackout period. After the first week, access to your cell phone during specific evening hours (per the programming schedule) may be permitted at the sole discretion of your primary counselor.
Access to cell phones after the blackout period is always a privilege and may be revoked for any reason, as determined by your primary counselor and/or treatment team.
Case management will support you in handling all calls to legal contacts, employers, for financial purposes, etc.
Information for the clients loved ones: Due to HIPAA laws, we may not release any information about a client to any party unless the client has provided written consent.
Checking on your loved ones progress: Loved ones may check on the progress of a client by contacting the facility while the client is in detox. Once the client transfers to residential, their primary counselor will be the contact for updates.
Family Sessions and Visitation
We encourage family involvement in the client’s recovery process. Visiting is Sunday from 3pm to 4:30pm and must be scheduled with your counselor prior to Sunday.
All visitors for a family session must be approved by the primary counselor. Only four (4) visitors will be permitted. Any request for a family session must be scheduled and approved by the primary counselor. We highly recommend that minor children (under the age of 14) not attend these sessions.
How Insurance Works After Arrival
Each insurance company has medical-based guidelines that we must follow to access the benefits provided in their policy. We work diligently to maximize the treatment days available for each client. Our counselors keep the clients informed of their insurance status.
